Collins Streamside Community is a community of neighbors, not a program. Community members work in a variety of ways both in the community and in the larger world. Members have individual jobs and activities that both inform and are informed by community life. Activities described here have arisen organically out of living in the community, out of pursuing justice and reconciliation, and out of members individual talents and concerns. As a result, activities shift over time. What we do is simply a function of being neighbors in the full sense of the word. As community member Cilia puts it, “This is just what you do as a person.”
